The World Luxury Chamber of Commerce (WLCC) has announced the release of Issue 4 of Luxury People Magazine. This special edition, titled Women in Luxury, celebrates the women leading some of the most influential companies and brands within the global luxury industry.
The issue features executives, founders, and innovators working across sectors including hospitality, aviation, media, fragrance, design, and real estate. Their stories explore leadership perspectives, strategic thinking, and the evolving dynamics of the luxury economy.
The cover interview spotlights Gilda Perez-Alvarado, Chief Strategy Officer of Accor and CEO of Orient Express. In a discussion with WLCC President Alexander Chetchikov, she shares insights into capital discipline, brand stewardship, and the long-term vision guiding one of the most iconic names in travel. Perez-Alvarado also explains the importance of evolving heritage brands while safeguarding the elements that define their identity.
